I scrolled through 12,000 Nordstrom new arrivals for August — here are my top 15

We’re more than halfway done with August, and while, yes, that means we still have a few weeks of summer left, I can’t help but start thinking of those first chilly days of fall. That’s why, this month, I’m looking to add a few transitional pieces to my wardrobe that I can wear now and well into the autumn. Thankfully, Nordstrom has a bunch of fresh new arrivals that I can’t stop thinking about.

I’ve combed through the section — there are more than 12,000 new goodies — and found 15 items that I’ll be adding to my cart right away. As for what’s on my list, you’ll find lightweight fall styles, trendy new shoes I plan on wearing for seasons to come and some late summer favorites. I’m all about this super-cute Kate Spade bag, a versatile Reformation top that was meant for layering and a fun claw clip to help mask bad hair days. I swear by Gola sneakers. They’re wildly comfortable, more under-the-radar than other brands and they don’t take any time to break in, so you don’t have to deal with any annoying blisters or hot spots.

The brand’s Athena style is new to me, but this fuchsia color immediately caught my eye. They are sure to stand out paired with jeans and a white tee.
